QuickTether almost works :)
Some good news and some bad news.
QuickTether is finally starting to work right and the number of bugs have been reduced. Here is the current list of bugs:
1) Firmware creation - stuck at 1% (Temporary Fix: Copy "iPod2,1_2.2.1_5H11a_Restore.ipsw" manually to /Files/XPwn/ and rename to "Original221.ipsw") Thanks monkze
2) Various Patch errors after Firmware Creation
3) Tethered Jailbreak window not opening from main menu
4) LIBUSB error showing the word "False"
In other news, I have moved to a more stable server and everything is working again :)

Hey, your doing a fabulous job! But I was just curious when you expect being finished with all the bugs that the hack has? Because I don't really want to take the chance of hacking my iPod and some thing goes bizerk and screws it so that I can't restart the iPod anymore to it's normal state.
Also do you think you can tell me when you think it's alright to add the hack to my iPod, so that I can play it safe?
Much appreciated, EZ

Hi,
thanks so much for doing this! I've been trying to run it on my macbook through vmware and I can create the firmware fine, but it won't recognize my ipod in DFU mode. iTunes on my OS X partition recognizes that it's connected, but quicktether doesn't...any suggestions?

If the firmware can't be moved to your desktop, you can still restore its located at QuickTether directory /Files/XPwn/custom221.ipsw

Ummm.. i've tried creating a custom fw w/o installer and with/without a custom boot logo. It goes thru the whole process until it gets to the finalizing part and then it says "Error, Timeout Restarting Creation"... after that it doesn't restart. All together I've tried this GUI about 5-6 times with no success..
